(This Is Just Another) Breaking Up Song

You know those three words, “we gotta talk”
Normally stand for, “we’re breaking up”
Or maybe even we should “test the waters”
Normally means that
There’s another
This is just another breaking up song
The one that you turn on when your heart’s all gone
Yeah, this is just another breaking up song
The one that you listen to when that special someone does you wrong
There was this one guy.  He had a hunch
He wouldn’t be seeing his girlfriend that much
So when she told him that it was over
He saw the three guys standing over her shoulder
Chorus
Now everyone’s heard it, it’s the same every time
If you learn how to deal
Then you’ll do just fine

Expect Me

Going through the motions
Taking my old time
Trying to find something
To get you off my mind
Going through the motions
Looking back on you
Did I screw it all up
When I fell in love with you
Why did I tell you
What did you expect me to say
When you told me you didn’t feel the same way
What did you expect me to do
When I fell so hard in love with you
I don’t understand how you
Can act like you don’t care
You just told me yesterday
That you’d always be there
When you said I would always be in your life
I thought it was more than just friends
But I guess this is where our relationship ends
Why did I tell you
Chorus
And even though
It might sound crazy
I’ll still be calling you my baby

Chorus

Find A Way

Time goes on and moments pass
I’m trying to think when I cared last
My body’s rocking
I feel it all
But it’s not me
It’s my heart that takes the fall
Don’t try to run there’s nowhere to hide
You’ve gotta  find a way
Play your strengths
People ask, “how can you let go?”
And honestly
I don’t know
They left you standing all by yourself
They made you wonder if you needed anyone else
You won’t regret what’s happened in the past
But you are scared for what’s up next

No Time To Waste

Wake up.  It’s time to start over
Another day is over
It’s time to begin
Yet another day’s started
It’s time to be parted
With all your problems
You just want to be free
To do whatever you please
There’s no time to waste
And don’t let anything get to you
There’s only so much you can do
There’s no time to waste
Feeling, feelings of exhaustion
I’ve been held hostage by the clocks again
Time feels like it moves so quickly
You’ve gotta hold it closely
So you don’t loose it
Chorus
Wake up. It’s time to start over
Another day is over
It’s time to begin

Playing The Game

Wasted
Wasted from playing the game
Stuck with all this pain
Stuck with all this shame
Wasted
Wasted from waiting for you
After all that I’ve been through
Don’t know what I’ve turned into
And I’m tired
I’m tired of running the track
Of all this time I can’t take back
And of everything I’ve wasted on you
I’m tired
I’m tired of being alone
After all this time I should have know
That I just wasn’t right for you
Confused, confused is what I am
About all the times I should have ran
Ran away from you
Confused, confused about the rules
You used my heart as just a tool
And played me as a fool
Chorus
And as I drift along the path
I can’t help but to think back
I can’t help but to think of you
But it hurts so much when I do

Who Looks Happy

Every time I look back
Back on what you said
Every time I remember
Lying awake in bed
Looking back on that same day
When I found out your real feelings
And everything just went a blur
And I lived in a different world
Now who looks happy
Who looks sad
Who looks jealous
And who looks glad
Who’s unhappy
That’d be you
Look how far I’ve gotten to
Growing up in a time
Where you can’t unwind
In a place where every face
Looks just like mine
And everyone just acts the same
And is looking for a little fame
And when you try to walk away
All of the drama makes you stay
Chorus
Instrumental bridge

Can You Help Me

I I need some inspiration please
Can you help me
I need some push
I need some drive
I need a road
I need a way
Can you help me
I need a course through life
Cause every road I take
Leads to more mistakes
That I shouldn’t have to make
And every way I drive
Can’t help me inside
Can someone steer me right
Chorus
You were always there
You taught me how to care
You opened up my eyes
You let me see life
And if you were gone
Everything would seem wrong
I need you to see
Stay with me
I need a friend
A helping hand
Can you help me
A hand to lead me when I’m blind
I need a whisper in my ear
Can you help me

A whisper to tell me wrong from right

Yes I Will Carry On

How can you stand it
The crying every night
I tried it once
But I am not doing it twice
So when I asked you
How do you deal with it
You sat and told me
That you just grin and bear it
Chorus
But you mistake me
For some other girl
The girl that’ll sit back
And let you control her world
Yes I will stay here
And I will stand strong
As long as this world
Continues to carry on
The cries, the yells
The stories I’ll be able to tell
The hurt, the pain
That stays within my veins
And I know that I’ll grow
From the experience I know
That hurt might stay but I’ll be happy someday
Chorus
Yes I will carry on

Hold On It's Okay

You know the one thing you wish you had
Is the one thing you want so bad
You know the one thing you want so much
Is the one thing that is out of touch
Chorus
But hold on it’s okay
It doesn’t really matter anyway
Yeah hold on it’s okay
It might come to you someday
People always said dreams were out of reach
But is that something that we should really teach
Yeah do I really want it do I really care
My mind makes me think that something’s really there
Chorus

Get Along

You can’t fight peace with war
It won’t even the score
You can’t fight crime with hate
And cheating won’t help you in this case
Lying might get you your way
It’ll come back and get you someday
If people didn’t care about these things
Then maybe we’d get away from bad in society
If we all could get along
Maybe bombs wouldn’t drop
Maybe hunger would stop
If we all could get along
If we all could get along
If people didn’t care about these things
Maybe we’d get away from the bad in society
If we all could get along
Maybe bombs wouldn’t drop
Maybe hunger would stop
If we all could get along

(She Fell In Love With) The Boy Next Door

Let me tell you a story
That you’ve probably already heard
About a boy and a girl
They’ve know each other all their lives
And nothing’s ever felt this right
They’ve been best friends
Since they were ten
And she still loves him
Like she did back then
She fell in love with the boy next door
Why she’s still not entirely sure
He stopped the tears when she was sad
And made her laugh when she was mad
She fell in love with the boy next door
And as they got older emotions grew
Into something that seemed untrue
And then one day he moved away
And they talked every single day
Until he came back anyway
Chorus
Strange as it seems they never
Ripped apart at the seams
That’s cause they were meant to be
And if you’ve ever loved your best friend
You know how she felt in the end
After she fell in love with him
Chorus
